Wooden clutch with mahogany endings

Here is another attempt to use the experience I had as a furniture maker and apply it to the creation of a furniture like object to carry and use in everyday life.

The outside dimensions are 24.5 length X12 height X 6 depth.

The two rounded sides are made of oak veneered mdf and the tambour is made of oak veneered plywood. The inside is covered by cotton fabric and the joining endings are made of mahogany wood.

The opening is secured with a small linear magnet, incorporated onto the mahogany ending.
In the interior of the bag, where visible and there where the tambour joins the two sides, there is a covering with a small metallic measuring tape.

The clutch is unvarnished leaving a proper wooden feeling to the touch.
